The academy operates from a highly suitable aerodrome, with favorable weather conditions and manageable traffic, which makes it an excellent location for smooth and effective flight training. The entire SkyView team and management — including the instructors, dispatch staff, and maintenance crew — are incredibly supportive, committed, and hardworking. They are always quick to assist students and efficiently resolve any concerns related to flying, accommodation, or other day-to-day matters.

I recently completed my flight training at Skyview Aviation, and it took me just 9 months to go from zero experience to becoming a multi-engine rated pilot. My overall experience with the school was excellent, and I’m really grateful for the support and quality of training I received throughout the journey. One of the biggest advantages of Skyview Aviation is that flying happens very consistently, which helps students progress quickly without long gaps in training. Their in-house maintenance team is also a huge plus because aircraft issues were handled efficiently, and we rarely had to wait long for airplanes to get back into service. Chaya and Lauren were extremely supportive throughout my training. They were always helpful with scheduling, coordinating flights, and assisting with any issues that came up during training. Their professionalism and responsiveness made the entire process much smoother. A special thanks to my instructor, Aidan Fippin, who played a major role in my success. He was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making me a safe and confident pilot. His teaching style made complex concepts easier to understand, and he always pushed me to improve while keeping training enjoyable. Jay sir was also always just a text away whenever I needed help or guidance, which shows how much the school cares about its students. Great place to learn how to fly! I took my first intro flight lesson and it was great! Stuff there super friendly and nice, dispatcher Jocelyn booked my flight, and Instructor Brady was super professional, he explained me everything before the flight, we checked the plane, it was little windy and bumpy, but Brady made the flight so smooth that it wasn't scary at all, I felt his professionalism and I got much fun with those bumps and little turbulence at the begging, we got the lap around Diablo mount, it was great! So if you planning your first flight but scared and not sure, just choose this school and go for it, I'm pretty sure you will be happy!

The owner, Jay Vyas, is an incredible person—approachable, supportive, and genuinely invested in every student’s success. Along with Lauren and Chaya, the entire office team creates such a welcoming and caring environment. No matter the issue, they make sure it’s handled quickly and smoothly, which makes a huge difference during training. A special mention to Chaya, who does an amazing job supporting students from the very first day they step into Skyview all the way through to the end of their journey. The instructors here are highly skilled and experienced, and that really shows in the quality of training. They don’t just teach—they mentor. Every instructor is always willing to help without hesitation, and with each flight, you genuinely feel yourself becoming a better and more confident pilot. A very special thanks to Aidan, who has been my instructor from my very first flight all the way to earning my Commercial Pilot License. His constant support, guidance, and experience have played a huge role in shaping me into the pilot I am today. I’m truly grateful to have had such a dedicated instructor throughout my journey. The training itself has been very smooth and well-structured. Skyview has a solid fleet of C152s and C172s, ensuring great availability and consistency. One of the biggest advantages is their in-house maintenance—it keeps the aircraft in excellent condition and minimizes downtime, making the whole experience more efficient and stress-free. On top of that, their aircraft rental rates are very reasonable compared to many other schools, which really helps in managing overall training costs. Another huge plus is the accommodation provided by the school. It’s comfortable, convenient, and well-managed—making it much easier for students, especially those coming from out of town, to focus fully on their training without worrying about living arrangements. And being based at Tracy Airport is truly the cherry on top. With two runways and over 300 days of flyable weather, it’s an ideal place for flight training and building hours consistently. Overall, my experience here has been amazing, smooth, and truly enjoyable from start to finish. Grateful to be part of Skyview aviation.
