Please forgive the long comment, but to really understand where I’m coming from you need the full context. I had a tough week. We had a maintenance thing that required some support from a AOG service. You know how weeks like this go: I had to have a couple of tough conversations with my DOM and with my boss, and then I spent hours at the airport waiting on maintenance so we could do several engine runs. I was tired, I was hungry, I was thirsty, and I was probably grumpy - for two days. Fortunately for me, we were at the Aero Center FBO at PDK (you know this FBO, it was Epps for decades). The line service team on the second shift at Aero Center is fantastic. We had to start up, taxi out, and return several times, and the marshallers were always right there when we needed them. The ground handling was also on the spot whenever we needed to be moved. When we needed fuel the truck was there immediately. The line service was excellent, even in the opinion of this grumpy old jet captain. And now I have to say this, the CSR’s working the counter inside, Renah and Paris, were literally a pair of angels. For two afternoons in a row, every time I walked inside I found Renah and Paris with smiles on their faces and positive attitudes in their hearts. These two ladies took phenomenal care of my boss, helped with our own arrangements, helped coordinate the comings and goings of the folks working on my company’s jet, and always had kindness and understanding for a fella like me who had definitely gone through a couple of long days. What a great team of pro’s. You guys rock. Thank you so much for taking good care of us. You have a loyal customer right here.
