These pictures don’t even show a 10th of the situation. Came to the airport 3 1/2 hours early just so I could relax in the priority lounge do some duty-free shopping. The lineup for the counter which is expected went pretty fast, but it was about 45 minutes to get to the airline counter. That’s not the issue now just the lineup after the counter to get into Security is about another 40 minutes to 1hr. The security wouldn’t let people go up the escalators because of the massive lines just before the security. When you get upstairs to go through security, the lineup is another 20 minutes minimum. I came here at 9:45 AM for a 1 PM flight. Right now it’s 11:30 AM and I still haven’t gotten to the security checkpoint. A lot of people were cutting and one guy said he’s never seen it like this before. I told him to just jump the line as he was going to miss his flight. Be careful if you’re traveling through here and if you are do not hesitate to just cut line as there’s no coordination between airline and security staff or anyone. I keep on modifying this post because I think it’s the end so after Security, now you have to go through passport control. Since I had a North American passport, it was pretty quick but the lineup for the other passports was about what looks to be about 25 minutes. Past passport control now I have a 14 minute walk to my gate. One hour before my flight now.

As a solo traveller, the airport is very accessible. What a good experienced. I did not have difficulty in navigating my way from the airport to city. Everything smoothly done. The airport is clean and easy to follow. The arrival and departure are very convenient. Easy to access trains going to the city center. The best! One of the best airport!

It’s been about 10 years since I last transited here. KLM app was useful when my gate was changed. Don’t underestimate the distance between gates. Leave lots of room for moving around and don’t be late to gates. Water dispensers are available; look out for them and stay hydrated. There are “Schengen” and “non-Schengen” parts of the airport; be guided.

Very modern and well-organized airport. The signage is clear, transfers between terminals are simple, and there is a great selection of restaurants and shops. One of the biggest advantages is the direct train connection to Amsterdam city center, which makes traveling very convenient. Security lines can get busy during peak hours, but overall the experience feels professional and efficient. One of the better European airports for both transit and regular travel.

Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is one of the busiest airports in the region and overall it’s very well organized and modern. The airport is clean, efficient and offers plenty of services for travelers. There are many stores, especially for beauty products and shopping, though I was expecting a bit more variety in retail options. The airport itself is spacious and well arranged, but be prepared for a lot of walking especially if you are on an international transit. Make sure to keep enough time between connections because some gates and passport control areas can be quite far. Passport control is generally efficient but if it could be a little faster, it would make the transit experience even more convenient. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I had a nice time passing through. A modern airport with good facilities and smooth operations.
