As the business world becomes ever more hard-nosed and numbers-driven, there seem to be fewer and fewer enterprises that are still motivated by the dedication that they started out with. Fortunately, we are amongst the remaining few that are still motivated by a genuine devotion and enthusiasm for what we do. Such loyalty for aviation is as strong today as it was when our family first experienced the thrill of flight.
It was in 1916 that Baviero Baviera, then an officer in the Italian military, earned his wings.
He was an early champion of ground-to-air radio communication, and was also a close friend of Italo Balbo, the aviation pioneer who led a dramatic mass flight to Brazil in 1929. Succeeding generations have continued the family’s keen involvement in aviation, and in the post-war years Europavia was created to promote cooperation between European aircraft manufacturers.
