Chapman Freeborn Airchartering is a private jet charter broker based in CA. As a broker, Chapman Freeborn Airchartering arranges flights on FAA Part 135 certificated aircraft operated by third-party charter operators, sourcing the right aircraft and negotiating terms on the client's behalf.

Charter broker, not a direct operator. Brokers arrange flights on aircraft flown by Part 135 operators. Comparing brokers? See the operator register for who actually flies the aircraft.

How a broker works for you

01

Brief the trip

Route, dates, passengers, and preferences — a good broker turns that into a precise aircraft spec.

02

Source the operator

Brokers shop your trip across FAA Part 135 operators, comparing aircraft, positioning, and price.

03

Verify, then fly

The operator on the certificate flies you. Check their safety ratings and reviews here before you sign.

Ask any broker which Part 135 operator will fly your trip — then look them up on the operator register.

Absolutely awful, unethical business practice. They jack up your charter quote and don't care at all about your customer experience. They will happily leave the charter company with no method of acquiring important information from you and then blame them when all of a sudden the customs officer comes asking for it. What do they care? they have your money already! They use slimy tactics to make small airplane charter companies look bad. They will make minimal-to-no effort to properly set up a charter flight, even with the charter company asking over and over for the required information. Then when predictable problems occur, they let all the blame slide right into the lap of the pilots. It's no skin off their backs to allow a flight crew to absorb a $10,000 fine all while doing their very best to give the clients a good experience. As mentioned above, they already got their5%! My advice - cut out the sleazy middle man broker firm and look for a charter company (with their own fleet of aircraft!) on google. This will save you money and will make your charter experience a lot better.
