Exec 1 Aviation

Visited here to work on a customer's airplane. The crew at Exec 1 goes out of their way to accommodate anyone. Everyone, from line service, to maintenance, to pilots and FBO staff are so friendly, courteous and lovers of aviation. This is a great FBO!

When I had a flight scheduled on me and my wife's wedding anniversary, it was actually a verry wonderful surprise, pulled by my wife for me. I have a passion toward airplanes, and had a dream to fly on it, and shared it with her. The company was introduced by one of my friends that become a pilot recently. One hour, first flight was a wonderful experience. I had to see a real instructor cockpit, wich i only saw it on game of x-plane 10 or so only. Small 1 motor aircraft was a wonderful experience. We flew over Saylorville Lake, downtown Des Moines, and even our own home. Instructor was very excellent with flying it. Heaven was an awesomeness sunshine. Excellent experience, and someday i want to fly some more.... 😊.

This FBO was amazing!! Very friendly staff. Clean, well maintained facility. My brother lives near by and brought my niece and nephew to come watch me take off. The staff took them out on the golf cart to get a better view! You don't get people like that everywhere you go. I will definitely be coming back!!

I couldn't ask for better service. Most days, if the line isn't crazy busy, the fuel truck is following me to my hangar, and I'm topped off before I even finish packing up all of my gear. The building is newly refreshed with decent facilities throughout. I don't use the crew car, being that I'm based here, but when I walk by, they both seem to be newer and in good shape.

Bought an hour long discovery flight for our son's birthday gift. He was over the moon and it was worth every single penny. The instructor was patient with him and respectful. Original flight was scheduled during high winds and they made it very easy to reschedule. We will absolutely be looking into flight lessons with Exec 1
