J. F. Aviation is a private jet charter broker based in Joliet. As a broker, J. F. Aviation arranges flights on FAA Part 135 certificated aircraft operated by third-party charter operators, sourcing the right aircraft and negotiating terms on the client's behalf.

Charter broker, not a direct operator. Brokers arrange flights on aircraft flown by Part 135 operators. Comparing brokers? See the operator register for who actually flies the aircraft.

How a broker works for you

01

Brief the trip

Route, dates, passengers, and preferences — a good broker turns that into a precise aircraft spec.

02

Source the operator

Brokers shop your trip across FAA Part 135 operators, comparing aircraft, positioning, and price.

03

Verify, then fly

The operator on the certificate flies you. Check their safety ratings and reviews here before you sign.

Ask any broker which Part 135 operator will fly your trip — then look them up on the operator register.

I had the pleasure of Elizabeth being my instructor. She was nothing short of amazing. She took the time to answer any questions, explaining things thoroughly, at the same time made sure that I had gotten every pennies worth of the experience I expected and some. Her overall passion for flying definitely rubs off as well. Looking forward to the journey in getting my license because of such a great instructor. Thanks, Elizabeth!

I landed for fuel and had an issue with a stuck full down deflection on my trim. The mechanic at JF Aviation was more than happy to assist and got me ready to fly again in a matter of several minutes. He did not accept any payment and I will certainly remember this for future aircraft maintenance needs. Update: for the last 2 years JF has performed the annual on my airplane. They are thorough and competitively priced. Thanks again! Highly recommend!

Got my pilots license here last year and am still in contact with my instructor to this day. Even though I moved away and have seen many different flight schools and places to rent from, this by far ist the best place I have ever been to. Bob is the most authentic person and isn't going to rip you off like other places. You'll find well maintained engines at a very good rate here. Instructors are the friendliest people ever and I could spend hours and hours with these guys. Too bad that places and people like this are tough to find these days. Don't ever change, Bob!

I've used many different mechanics in my time owning a plane. I've never found any more honest or higher quality than Bob at JF Aviation. He seems to be the one A&P that actually listens to his customers, not to mention he seems to have worked on just about everything you can think of. People go out of their way to bring their planes here for a reason.

If you're in the Chicagoland area and looking to learn to fly, this is the only place to learn. I learned to fly at JF. I highly recommend Gary Parquette - he's the best. After getting my private certificate I purchased a PA28 and Bob (JF's owner) has always kept it in tip-top shape. Avoid Midway and Chicago Executive...come to Joliet. You won't regret it.
