Modesto Jet Center is a private jet charter broker based in CA. As a broker, Modesto Jet Center arranges flights on FAA Part 135 certificated aircraft operated by third-party charter operators, sourcing the right aircraft and negotiating terms on the client's behalf.

Charter broker, not a direct operator. Brokers arrange flights on aircraft flown by Part 135 operators. Comparing brokers? See the operator register for who actually flies the aircraft.

Communication & service

Everyone at MJC was exceptionally kind and line service graciously let me borrow a funnel when it came time to add a quart of oil to the Cherokee 180 before departing.

Line service kindly topped me off (landing fee was waived because I bought more than 15 gallons of fuel) and I went into the clean and comfortable pilot lounge…

How a broker works for you

01

Brief the trip

Route, dates, passengers, and preferences — a good broker turns that into a precise aircraft spec.

02

Source the operator

Brokers shop your trip across FAA Part 135 operators, comparing aircraft, positioning, and price.

03

Verify, then fly

The operator on the certificate flies you. Check their safety ratings and reviews here before you sign.

Ask any broker which Part 135 operator will fly your trip — then look them up on the operator register.

Stopped in during the evening for a bite to eat in Modesto. Considered not using the Jet Center as I was just in an RV14 but I was greeted by Sean upon my arrival and the hospitality was great. Looking forward to a future trip back.

MOD was 272 straight line nautical miles from CNO and I had to satisfy my long solo cross country leg of 250 nautical miles or more for my commercial rating FAR 61.129 part 4(i) . The desert is a no go in late summer with heat and monsoon and SNS didn’t have enough roads beneath me enroute (I fly IFR: I Follow Roads), so MOD was a logical choice to set down after the first leg. I arrived MOD around 1 PM and was quickly marshaled in at Modesto Jet Center. Line service kindly topped me off (landing fee was waived because I bought more than 15 gallons of fuel) and I went into the clean and comfortable pilot lounge to eat some lunch and check weather for my return trip to FAT and CNO. Monsoonal flow was bringing moisture north and there were strong T-storm cells that I didn’t want to get caught in on the way home. So, I borrowed the free internet and charged my iPad and GPS receiver while eating lunch and planning my route home around the cumulonimbus clouds. Everyone at MJC was exceptionally kind and line service graciously let me borrow a funnel when it came time to add a quart of oil to the Cherokee 180 before departing. I did not notice the doggy bar, but will bring my dog through the next time we come through MOD. I will tell all of my pilot friends to plan their cross country flights through MOD and to stop over at MJC!

Flew in late on Sunday night without an appointment and the FBO was quick to assist. Very friendly and helpful staff and facilities were super clean. Special Note: This is the first FBO I've seen with a "Doggie-bar" (see picture)

Excellent Chart Service. From booking and getting all the details from Yesica to our pilots the service and attention to detail was superb. I was very impressed by the convenience and safety they offer. They flew our entire family to Southern California for a long weekend and I couldn't not have been more satisfied. Highly recommend.
