The experience i had with this airport on April 2nd 2023 was absolutely repulsive . I was LITERALLY LOCKED in a room with 5 officers , 4 of which were male and i am a 23 year old female . They took my phone & told me i could make no phone calls . So i begin to cry as I’m crying one of the officers asks me if I’m on some type of medication one entirely VIOLATING HIPPA PRIVACY & 2 literally antagonizing & taunting me . They took every single item out of my suitcase with absolute disregard . They then proceeded to take ALL OF MY CASH and count it managing to rip multiple $20 bills with how aggressive they were . And at the end of it ALL CHARGED ME $500 for a CBD pen that they proceeded to put back in my purse and let me get right on the airplane with . In addition to making ME PUT ALL MY stuff back THAT THEY THREW out of my bag as ALL 5 OF THEM STAND THERE AND WATCH ME . I have been doing everything in my power to get in contact with a superior of this establishment since the day of incident and they simply won’t answer the phone . I have never in my life been so emotionally traumatized until this event . I will never in my life return to st Thomas .

Very nice waiting area and the staff was extremely helpful.
