Twin Cities Aviation is a private jet charter broker based in Blaine. As a broker, Twin Cities Aviation arranges flights on FAA Part 135 certificated aircraft operated by third-party charter operators, sourcing the right aircraft and negotiating terms on the client's behalf.

Twin Cities Aviation began operating in 1997 at the Anoka County Airport in Blaine, Minnesota.
TCA was the culmination of a dream by founder Bill Ahmann, A&P/IA, who after years working as an A&P mechanic on piston and turbine aircraft in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area started his own business with the goal of providing outstanding personal service to aircraft owners and operators in the Twin Cities area.
In 1999 TCA became one of the first Cirrus Authorized Service Centers in the country. Cirrus Design Corp. chose TCA as a service center over several larger maintenance shops in the area partly because of the personal attention Bill and his staff provide to their customers, which fit well with what became known as “The Cirrus Experience.”

Horrible experience. I had major insurance work that required removal of both wings for my Piper Cherokee. Two gas leaks still present when I got the plane back in addition to a dead battery even though they put a new one in during the repairs. I didn't trust them to do the work so called Twin Cities Aviation to tell them I was taking the plane to another aviation group at Osh Kosh & got a verbal consent that they would pay for repairs. Sent the bill to Twin Cities Aviation, but they will not cover the repairs required by their poor workmanship. They are now not responding to me or the insurance company who is asking for an explanation.

I used TC Aviation for a pre-buy inspection. They did a very thorough job and found several items the pervious owner's mechanic missed. They clearly communicated their findings and work to be done and did an excellent job. Highly recommended.

Twin Cities just completed a pre-buy inspection on a 182 for me. The whole experience, start to finish, was positive. They provided me with a detailed list of discrepancies, along with their estimate to address each one, and pictures of each one to help me fully understand what they were seeing. (I was not able to be there when the inspection happened, so this was especially helpful for me.) Tyler was great to work with, from scheduling to completion, always replying to any questions promptly.

There is no better place to learn to fly. Their planes are well maintained, and their staff is welcoming and skilled. Their CFI are great, and make students like me feel very comfortable about flight. They also rent planes. Again, if you want to fly TCA is the place!
