Great time for Dad's 70th! Jean-Marc was our pilot and provided a great overview of the area we know and love - what a different view from above! We took a pass over Elk Falls and Quadra - breathtaking! After seeing the other reviews and pics of the glacier tour, I know we'll visit again! Excellent experience!

49 North tour of the glacier as a birthday gift for my wife? Absolutely! Our pilot Kendall was exceptional and the tour was excellent. Such a privilege to get to see home from another perspective. Beautiful day, beautiful flight, and an extremely happy wife. Might just make this an annual event! Thank you Kendall and 49 North!

49 North gave us an amazing experience!! Our pilot Kendall was super nice, answered any questions we had, gave us a great tour of the island. They responded so quickly to our inquiry, everyone we talked to was lovely. Highly recommend.

I booked the Comox Glacier Tour with a mountaintop stop as a surprise for my husband to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. He didn't find out what we were doing until I pulled up to the 49 North parking lot. Our minds were both blown with this incredible experience! Our pilot Matthias was the perfect mix of friendly and easygoing while being professional and safe. The flight was smooth & seamless. We had a clear sunny day which optimized views of mountains, the glacier and many hidden lakes & waterfalls. As two lifelong British Columbians, we were enamored by the beauty of Vancouver Island from the sky. Being atop Alexandra Mountain was awe inspiring and magical. As well the booking experience with Alice (2 months in advance) was quick & easy with all my questions answered clearly & to satisfaction. My only regret- not doing this sooner and final thought is "what tour can we do next?" Highly recommend!

We can’t thank 49 North Helicopters enough, especially Matthias, our pilot, for an unforgettable experience on the Comox Glacier tour. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and from the moment we took off, I felt completely safe and cared for. This trip was a surprise planned by my partner — and during the tour, she proposed! Matthias went above and beyond to help keep everything a secret and even chose the perfect location for our photographer to capture such an important moment. Thank you for helping create one of the most beautiful memories of our lives. It’s something we’ll never forget.
