Small airport so TSA line is airways less than 10 minutes long. Waiting area past security is quite full, but can always find a seat. The seating is designed for the small aircraft that service this airport. All parking is covered so low risk of hail damage. Lots of parking available.

Just went thru and sitting in the plane waiting to take off. I was running late. Missed bag check. TSA was so kind, I only lost my hairspray thank God! LOL They got me thru quickly and altho I was last on board, the gate agents had my bag ready to check and me checked in. They saved my butt and my stress. 5 big stars for everyone! It's so worth it to not have to go to DFW or Austin ♥️♥️

Nice small airport with great TSA staff and helpful/professional gate and ground crew. Things that could improve the airport experience for travelers: 1) public wifi. There is NO wifi at airport, public or paid. 2) better signage to get to rental car parking. There's one sign inside the terminal and then you are on your own finding the rental cars. Hint: they are in the right hand side of the parking lot at the front as you leave the terminal. Hopefully your psychic abilities are better than mine. 3) clarity from the rental car companies and their apps, that you MUST stop at the rental car deals to pick up keys. Despite what the rental car apps say, if you are a premium member, you can NOT go out to the parking lot and pick up your car and keys like larger airports. Think old school rental car procedure. Be prepared to fill out forms too since their IT systems aren't updated. While this isn't a airport issue per se, the airport could do a better job of signage saying you need to pick up your keys at the rental car desks. Again poor psychic abilities.

Small, easy access. However, no food amenities. Also, no directions as to where to get boarding passes and check in. Not well connected with 3rd party providers like booking or priceline and cutoff time to drop seats for a booked flight ridiculously stringent since there are no directions on where to get boarding passes or check in, few desk attendants and many travellers (so quite easy to lose seats due to time constraints). Recommend spending the extra time to just to drive to DFW unless time is absolutely urgent.
