Badly organized baggage drop. They know exactly how many passes to expect, so why can't they plan their staff accordingly? - tickets are expensive ($280 to Tiblis), staff wages low, so why treat customers like that? - all other airlines at Almaty airport where without waiting lines at this time

Our family had the worst check in experience of our lifetime. The guy at the check in counter was inefficient in getting the information that he needed to check us in. It took close to one hour to check us in. While i underatand he was doing his due diligence, what i found infuriating was that he clocked out right in the middle of checking us in at 9.00 AM without proper instructions to the girl who took over. She asked the same questions again, but was more efficient than him. I wish i had taken note of his name and unfortunately don't remember the counter number (18 -25). All i remember is him having curly hair. I am very disappointed with the service from one of my favorite airlines today.

Awful Experience – Wouldn’t Fly Again This was one of the most uncomfortable flights I’ve ever taken. The crew wasn’t very friendly, and the overall service felt unwelcoming. The cabin was extremely hot, and I was sweating throughout the flight. When I asked if they could adjust the AC, they refused, saying that other passengers felt cold. I understand that it’s hard to please everyone, but there was no fresh air, which made it really uncomfortable. The snacks and drinks were also pretty bad. The food tasted very cheap, and the drinks seemed like watered-down syrup. I wasn’t expecting anything fancy, but this was probably the worst I’ve had on a flight. On top of that, the airline pushed their ad so aggressively in the beginning that I couldn’t even turn them off or lower the brightness on the screen. One of the worst moments was when the plane was descending—I was sleeping, and a female crew member suddenly started shaking me really hard to wake me up. I get that they might need passengers awake for landing, but the way she did it was completely unnecessary. It startled me and honestly made me really mad. When we landed, I also felt rushed while walking toward the exit, even though I was moving at a normal pace. It wasn’t a huge deal, but it added to the overall negative experience. I wouldn’t personally recommend this airline. Even budget airlines like Spirit and Frontier, which have a reputation of cheap airlines, offer friendlier service and better food options. If you have other choices, I’d suggest looking elsewhere. On top of that, they don’t follow their schedule. There was a 50-minute delay at the beginning, and they kept everyone inside the airplane without even apologizing for the delay.

Any other “word class airline” will be more flexible with 3kg of excess baggage after they have delayed your flight two times in a same day! You should really work on the soft skills of your ground staff and give them some guidance for treating cases like that! Absolute disgrace!

One of the best airlines in the world. Service is great 👍 Generally fly on time. They also fly to many countries and locations. Team .is professional and helpful. Seat gap is wide enough and comfortable. Air Astana is proud of Kazakhstan.
