Air Rescue began offering Air Ambulance services from its base in Johannesburg at the start of 2000. This was as an initiative to provide medical evacuation with international standards in remote locations and has grown to become one of the busiest Air Ambulance services in the world. We are committed to excellence through the safe delivery of quality medical care and a consistently reliable service to our customers and patients. Vast distances and lack of quality medical care across the areas in which we operate mean that emergency Air Ambulance medical evacuations require expert and professional assistance delivered by medical teams familiar with the logistical challenges of their respective regions.
Air Rescue offers a range of dedicated air ambulances strategically based across Africa, the Middle East and Asia. We offer 24/7 solutions to all medical emergencies and highly qualified doctors trained to assist with all medical evacuation scenarios and Air Ambulance transport needs. Our medical crew are highly trained and are capable of delivering advanced life support and intensive care both in the field and in the Air Ambulance setting, supported by state-of-the-art medical equipment.
Our team comprises aero-medical specialists covering all medical requirements delivering intensive care both in the field and in-flight. We use dedicated ambulance aircraft equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment.
