We recently took a 20 minute flight with Air Zermatt to the Matterhorn and surrounding area. It was absolutely amazing! It was the closest we could get without actually climbing the mountain. Our pilot was great, providing details and answering questions. The takeoff and landing were so fun, if you love that type of flying (we do). The only portion that was less than great, was finding the way up to the heliport. The main elevator was under maintenance and they had some signs for an alternative route. However, it required a code to enter the parking structure (not provided), and if not for luck of someone coming out, we couldn’t gain access. Once in, there were no signs to where the elevator was or how to get to the heliport. We wondered around for a bit trying different doors and finally walking a random path to the landing area. This part could be improved but didn’t take away from the experience. Highly recommend! RJC

Wünderbar ! A truly amazing experience with an extraordinary flight crew and staff. Not only do you see the Matterhorn and the Alps up close, you do so in the hands of one of the world’s best aerial search-and-rescue teams. Everything was seamless: booking, online check-in, and boarding. Our pilot, Kevin Lauber, was part tour guide, part aerial magician, navigating the airspace and mountains with remarkable ease. There were huge smiles all around for all of us throughout the entire flight. The flight became Herzensgedächtnis – an experience forever etched in my heart. Thank you Air Zermatt !

Absolutely outstanding flight experience. Well trained staff and the pilot was very informative and friendly. It made our stay in Zermatt very memorable indeed. The flight itself takes you over the most stunning mountain vista but the pièce de résistance was the up close view of the majestic Matterhorn it felt so close you could see the little wooden hut half way up which the pilot pointed out that the last person to use it for a short rest bite had left the small window open. All in all 100% recommended this thrilling experience.

Excellent 1/2 hour heli flight seeing the breathtaking sights of the Matterhorn and surrounding area. It was a bright and sunny day and views were spectacular. Pilot was very informative and booking was smooth and easy. 2 thumbs up.

Our experience with the Air Zermatt team was nothing short of incredible and truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the entire staff made us feel welcomed, excited, and completely at ease. Their professionalism and attention to detail were evident every step of the way, setting the tone for what would become one of the most breathtaking experiences we have ever had. The helicopter ride itself was absolutely spectacular. Flying across the skies of Zermatt and witnessing the surrounding mountain ranges from above was simply surreal. The highlight was getting so close to the Matterhorn, an experience that felt almost unreal. A very special thank you to our pilot, whose skill and talent were beyond impressive. The way he expertly controlled the helicopter, especially while hovering so precisely near the eye of the mountain to give us the perfect view and photo opportunity of the Matterhorn, was truly remarkable. It was clear we were in the hands of someone exceptionally experienced and passionate about what they do. This was such a thrilling, smooth, and awe inspiring journey, and we are incredibly grateful to the entire team for making it so special. We cannot stop talking about it and reliving those moments. We are already looking forward to booking another flight in the near future and experiencing this magic all over again.
