The airport would have been lovely if the people hadn’t been so awful and behaved so poorly. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had with the people working at an airport in all my years as a pilot.

Terrible experience. We were instructed to hold for about 15 minutes before landing, which caused us to touch down just 3 minutes after the airport’s closing time. As a result, we were charged two €150 penalties, even though the delay was entirely due to the instructions we received. No common sense and no understanding whatsoever. On top of that, the landing fees, parking, and taxi charges are all very expensive. Never again.

07/2020 2 Stars Beautiful island but the airport and the services are kinda pathetic. One of the ground staff was especially unfriendly and even yelled at us multiple times. The coordination with the airport was also quite a challenge. I wrote many mails which had all been answered properly but in the end nobody at the airport knew about anything of the done coordination. Don’t get me wrong some of the staff is really friendly but in general there is just a lot to improve at this airport Update 08/2024 Services and Prices got even worse. Also hardly anybody on this airport speaks English.

Flew to LDLO and back to LJLJ on 5. 9. 2022 in a C172 with 2 passengers. After landing marshaller was waiting for us on the apron. There was not much traffic that day so we got parking stand on a paved apron. Wing tie-downs and chocks were provided by the airport. Shuttle service is available but we decided to go to the nearest town at Kandija bay (20-25min walk in one direction). 3-4h after arriving we departed back to LJLJ. Fees: 60€ for C172 (me (pilot) + 2 passengers) and around 3-4h stay.

Small local airport, nice for coming with airplane or helicopter to Losinj...on the airport is police and small bar,parking and transfer to city available...otherwise it is very old and not in good shape.
