The float plane was great and saw several bears. However we waited 3 hours before we could fish in Wolverine creek and then dougie waited about 10 minutes and let throw a hailmarry and moved. We watched 7 boats catch their limit and we caught zero. Very unapologetic When you pay 2700 dollars and not catch anything and no one including dougie and the step mom who rode plane back cared about it. No one pointed anything out on plane ride over glaciers. Don’t waste your money!

The best trip ever! Nick was our guide and he was awesome…. Took us to best fishing spots away from the other groups and then he took us to see the bears . I have never seen bears dive down in the water. Many mama bears. Doug flew us out and Amare flew us home over the amazing glacier. Can’t say enough good things.

3 Part Evaluation - Our family of 6 took the Crescent Lake Bear viewing, Fishing and Flightseeing tour the first week of Sept. 2025. *** Tony, our Guide - He deserves a 10+ out of the 1 to 5 stars rating!! I highly recommend asking for him personally if you are booking this tour. I know seeing bears is hit or miss, but he knew exactly where to take us to see them. We were able to see a mom with her 2 cubs enjoying salmon plus 6 others just right off the boat . The pictures don't do the experience justice on how amazing the brown bears really are. Tony also made sure that if we were not catching fish in a certain spot or with a specific lure, he changed out all the poles and locations to make sure we had a great time. We stopped counting after we had each caught 10 fish!! Our daughter didn't want to get out of the boat and he made sure she had a fabulous time also!! We also were able to see female salmon digging their gravel nests getting ready to lay their eggs in the shallow river beds and ended our trip with a young juvenile eagle taking flight. I Can not wait to book another adventure with Tony in the future! This experience, I will cherish forever!! *** Gracie, was our contact from the main office. She deserves 5 stars. She was so helpful to get us scheduled and figuring out what the best tour for our family was. We had to reschedule our original time to the next day due to high winds and the weather, but she communicated early with us so we were able to tweak our day and make it work. *** Doug, the pilot - 1 star because he did fly us to and from home base. Only spoke to us when we got on board for the required safety information and when we got off. Never explained to the group what we were going to see, or what to look out for to have our camera's ready. This was a special trip for my birthday and by the end was a horrible experience. There was a seat up front with the pilot, so when he asked who would like to ride up front, I jumped at the chance. I started taking pictures of the beautiful scenery and I totally misunderstood when he asked me not to take pictures because it made him uncomfortable. I apologized, as I thought he didn't want me to have him in the pictures. He then told me to put my camera away, no pictures at all. I wished he had told me this when I sat down, as I would have never sat there. So much for the possible wildlife photography. I would not call the flight a "tour" at all, just a mode of transportation. If you are looking to only book a wildlife or wilderness flight to take pictures, I would ask for somebody else. If my family had only booked the flightseeing tour portion, I know it would not have mattered, but I would have asked for a refund. Overall, would I book this tour again, definitely yes! I learned a valuable lesson - to ask specifically for Tony and when booking to make sure your family has a pilot that would actually give a tour about the beautiful Alaskan scenery during the flight.

Incredible experience of bear viewing!! Our guide, Luke, was super nice, knowledgeable, and funny! We saw a ton of brown bears and even a couple of black bears. Highly recommend this company for the best tour! The flight there and back also allow you to get the best views from up above.
