ALPINE AVIATION, INC. is an aviation company founded in 1990 by Sandy and Gordon Mills who continue to own and operate it today. We offer aircraft charter, maintenance, management, pilot flight training, and aircraft rental. We are located in Grass Valley, California, 50 miles north of Sacramento in the beautiful foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
Alpine Aviation started as an FAA Certificated Air Carrier in October 1991 and began chartering with a Beech Twin Bonanza. Since 1991, we have operated several different charter aircraft from single-engine to twin engines and turboprop. Soon afterward we moved into flight training and aircraft maintenance.

By far the best maintenance experience I’ve had in aviation. Gordon and his team are the best to work with…scheduling hasn’t been an issue and they keep you up to date on what needs to be done next. Gordon is also a phenomenal instructor and just with the 30 mins of flight time we have had together bringing my aircraft home…I learned so much! Highly highly recommend Alpine Aviation!

Dan did a great job replacing the reefing line cutters and fixing a clogged TKS system on my SR22. He has a deep knowledge of Cirrus aircraft and gets repairs done quickly.

Did my flight training here. Gordon is the most knowledgeable instructor I could find in the area. He actually let's you fly! I received my pilot license from Gordon's training. The shop is always busy and they seem to have a steady stream of students. Training airplane is a new, safe airplane. Awesome place and people.
