Ambulance Victoria (AV) is responsible for providing emergency medical transport, pre-hospital care and non-emergency stretcher and clinic transport services for around 5.2 million people throughout Victoria, an area of almost 227,600 square kilometres. The organisation is also responsible for providing air ambulance services throughout the state. AV is an integral component of the health care system and consequently a significant infrastructure is in place to enable a rapid emergency response and delivery of a high standard of pre-hospital care to the community.

I can't thank air ambulance victoria enough for their care given to my husband due to medical appointments he had. It was a great experience for both of us on both trips considering I don't like flying i did pretty good and Paul was in his element.

A massive thanks to the team from Air Ambulance Victoria. Today pilot Ryan, along with paramedics Nicole and Chris I was all air lifts from Mt Hotham to Essendon airport. The care and comfort provided by them was outstanding. Thanks AAV
