Among other things, the company works with foreign insurance companies to cover liability for claims by foreign nationals affected in Thailand. It should be noted that the insurance company also provides false information to its partners abroad regarding documents that have allegedly already been sent to the hospital. Although Asia Assistance has received the guarantee from abroad to cover the costs, waiting times of a few hours are common here. You can imagine what this means in a serious emergency. So ask your insurer in your home country whether they work with this insurance company in Thailand in any way. It is in your own interest to look for other options, unless you want to risk life and limb.

Absolutely not recommended. Please avoid them. My experience with Asian Assistance has been an absolute disaster. We had to wait over 13 hours for an emergency surgery, with no clear answers or real support from their team and same with the follow-up and medical updates. During all that time, no one took responsibility, no one communicated properly, and there was a complete lack of empathy or professionalism. They promise quick and efficient help, but in reality, they are slow, ineffective, and completely unreliable when you actually need them. It feels like their only priority is getting paid, and once they do, they simply forget about the patient and their job. Honestly, I can’t say a single positive thing about this experience. If I could give zero stars, I would. I would never recommend Asian Assistance to anyone who values their health, time, or peace of mind.

Do not send documentation in time and make us stuck at the hospital. 3 appointment through them and 3 times had that issue.
