Recently checked out to rent the C172 from Augusta Aviation. This organization is world class, from Instruction/Check Out (Chris Smith was excellent) to quality of the aircraft to servicing/maintenance/scheduling. Everyone is a total professional. Chris Young and company should be your first choice in all things aviation. I have 47 years of flying, including military, commercial and was Chief IP at a 141 school.

Augusta Aviation did a FANTASTIC job on recent golf outing. I fly with Augusta Aviation monthly & they are always on time. Aircraft are spotless & pilots are ready to "roll".

They knocked the rust off me after getting my private pilot elsewhere. Then saw me through my instrument and now commercial certification. There's always an instructor there to ask questions, the place is clean, inviting, and very resourceful in their teaching. Even the maintenance guys need a shout out for the actual eagerness they displayed when I asked them questions about the more mechanical side of flying. Worth every star

I spent a year with another flight school in Georgia working on my Commercial Pilot rating. Frustrated and tired of wasting money, I talked with Chris Young at Augusta Aviation and he worked with me to finish the rating in a couple of months. Chris is a great instructor. I learned more in the handful of flights with him than I did in a year at the other school. I passed my checkride with no problems and I’m now working on additional ratings with Chris. Highly recommend Chris and Augusta Aviation. I also appreciate their support for veterans like me in pursuit of a career with the airlines.
