I stopped here briefly in my small plane and it was one of the worst experiences ever at an FBO. I was treated with disdain by the counter girl and she didn’t want to tell me where the pilot lounge was. Then got huffy when I didn’t understand that the so called “security fee” meant that if you park your plane and walk through the door you are literally locked in until you pay the fee explaining that staying even a minute the fee is due. The bummer is there appears to be no alternative at KPIH and I do need to start routinely fly there, rent car, get fuel, etc, etc.. Perhaps lack of competition explains the inexcusable behavior? My small plane? Who knows….

This FBO went above the mark in trying to make us as comfortable as possible. We got stuck there because of weather for 4 days trying to get out and unfamiliar with the area mountains. Over the days they helped trying to find us a way out east and south of there but the weather just would not allow it in a single engine aircraft. On the 5th day we had to call it and leave our aircraft there and take a commercial flight out and come back later to pickup the plane. They kept the plane in a hangar for us and will keep it there until it can be flown out in better weather conditions. I would like to thank your whole team for making this a pleasurable experience when things just would not workout for us to fly out of there.

A friend of mine works for this establishment and I was very impressed with not only their facility but also their inventory of jets and propeller planes. We met several of the employees and everyone was so welcoming and very nice to my son and I. My friend toured us around the facility and then concluded by giving us a tour of the inside of one of the planes. Planes fascinate me already so it was a real treat to be able to tour the inside of one of their private plane they use to transport clients to various locations.
