Aztec Airways.

I highly recommend the fabulous team at Aztec Airways (and especially Miki!). They were very accommodating when our plans absolutely required it and got us to our destination right on time. This was my first time flying a private charter and it was a great experience, especially after a nightmarish evening spent in the Houston airport because of commercial delays. We even had a lost item and they were great in helping us locate it and get it back to us.

Aztec Airways is the Best! They make it easy flying to and from the Bahamas, especially Treasure!! The customer service is outstanding! I highly recommend!

I would strongly caution anyone considering booking with Aztec Airways. We booked a flight with them after our commercial airline canceled our original flight and rebooked us to Fort Lauderdale. When that replacement flight was later canceled, our travel plans changed and we contacted Aztec to see if there was any flexibility with our tickets. Aztec would not consider any options at all. They would not transfer the tickets, provide a credit for future use, or help us rebook for another day. In fact, the representatives immediately told us “no” before we could even finish explaining the situation or ask about possible alternatives. As a result, we lost the entire amount we paid for the flight. The customer service experience was extremely disappointing. The staff were unaccommodating, dismissive, and unwilling to work with us in any way despite the circumstances being outside of our control. Based on this experience, I would not recommend booking with Aztec Airways. Travelers should be aware that if ANYTHING changes with your travel plans, you may have no flexibility and risk losing the full cost of your ticket. There are plenty of options in Airlines. Choose one with better customer service and respect.

I regularly fly with Aztec, and can’t recommend them enough. Given the exorbitant prices of commercial flights to and from the Bahamas, flying a scheduled or charter flight with Aztec isn’t that much more expensive and saves you a lot of time. Moreover, their ground crew, pilots and reservations team are always a pleasure to deal with, they go above and beyond to help whether it’s with last minute flights or oversized cargo, they genuinely try and do it with a smile. 10 out of 10!

Sorry to be the buzz-kill here but, while Aztec Airways may be fun to fly, they are a nightmare when it comes to resolving a baggage claim issue. Long story short, I flew Aztec from FLL to ELH on 9/11/25. On landing at ELH, the baggage guy from the FBO ran over my computer bag with both axles of the fully-loaded baggage cart. And, yes, as the ticket was purchased from Aztec Airways and I flew on their scheduled aircraft, they are responsible. Since then, more than four months now, Aztec has stone-walled me in trying to resolve this damage issue. In the months that I have spent, patiently trying to get this claim taken care of, I have communicated with no less than six Aztec employees with each one of them bouncing me to another one. There is no excuse for the shoddy treatment I have received in trying to get compensated for my ruined computer bag and damaged computer. We have a home in the Bahamas and regularly fly there from FLL. I will not fly Aztec Airways ever again.
