I am writing this to prevent this from happening to another person. We scheduled an unmanned drone written exam at this location. Upon arrival, the building was empty. There was no sign directing us to a different location, no phone number to call posted, just an empty site. I am certain they're provided with a roster of test takers, why would you not advise people of your move before test date? We were charged $175 and cannot get a refund as they marked my employee as a "no show." Not only has this delayed our operations, but it also cost us $175 and a headache. Just choose a different testing location if you have the choice.

Vista Aviation is amazing! I got my private pilot's license with CFII Robert Illian and I greatly enjoyed learning to be a proficient pilot with him. All of the instructors are fantastic and the fleet of Cessnas are well maintained. After getting my license, I have been renting from Vista Aviation for the past few years and plan on continuing to do so!

I got my VFR Private Pilots License flying out of KWHP at Vista Air! Whiteman airport is a wonderful aviation treasure, a small Airport under the Burbank class C that is never too busy. It is an ideal learning environment. Vista Air is also a wonderful school, They have plenty of well maintained 172's, that all have updated avionics. The office is really nice inside, and has a comfortable lounge and friendly staff that can help you schedule planes. My instructor Ethan Martin Del Campo was simply wonderful. He has such a positive and upbeat teaching style that makes you feel like you are flying with you're best friend. I looked forward to every lesson, including the ground session where we learned about weather and aviation law. He always texted me and kept me updated and encouraged me to study. He kept his cool even when I was still struggling to land after a 100 tries! And he never made me feel inadequate. Having a good learning relationship with your CFI is really important for a positive learning experience. You're going to learn so many things in flight school. some of which are very hard to grasp. But Ethan made learning easy, and fun! And most important, his passion for aviation makes you care about flying by the regulations and being safe! I am so glad for the year I spent here. And I will continue to rent planes from the school and fly out of this wonderful airport!

I just had the pleasure of obtaining my PPL through Vista Air and I am beyond impressed and grateful. They have a great staff, a super convenient scheduling system, and a top notch fleet! It should be noted that while Vista has a well maintained fleet of aircraft, and comfortable rooms for ground lessons, they still somehow offer affordable pricing for rentals and instructors. Speaking of instructors, I worked with Ethan Martin del Campo for all of my training hours, and I was always in good hands. Ethan is polite, attentive, and thorough. Flying is complex, obviously, but Ethan knows how to deliver instruction both in the air and on the ground in such a way that always instilled confidence as I progressed through my training. He is top notch, and I would highly recommend selecting Ethan and Vista for your PPL or beyond!

I highly recommend Ethan to anyone interested in getting their private pilot licence. I worked with Ethan for 6 months and I am now a private pilot. Depending on your schedule you can take longer or shorter to get it! From our first class until the last Ethan was always on time, he always added a lot of value, he pushed me to reach my full potential without putting pressure. He knows the system in and out and will coach you to become a great and safe pilot but also to reach a level to pass the written and check ride tests as soon as possible. So I encourage you to take the first step today and reach out to Ethan for an introduction flight to see if you enjoy it and if one day you can see yourself flying a plane by yourself!
