Central Copters, Inc. is a private jet charter operator based in Belgrade. Operators fly under their own FAA Part 135 certificate and carry direct operational control of every flight.

Established in 1963 as one of the original helicopter companies in the state of Montana, Central began operations with a single, piston-powered Bell 47G3B1. From this humble venture, we have grown and expanded to a fleet of “State of the Art”, turbine-powered helicopters. Our continued strong commitment to safety with decades of experience, remain the strength and backbone of our company today; and provide the framework for all Part 135 Charter and Part 133 External Load flights.
Our Montana roots run deep and for years we have been proud to assist the highly skilled professionals of the Gallatin County Search and Rescue team. When tough assignments in extreme conditions demand experience and precision, Central Copters is trusted to answer the call.

Central Copters helped to turn a stressful vacation into a memorable adventure. They recently retrieved our group’s cars and belongings from a mountain cabin rendered inaccessible due to the Yellowstone area flood. The team at Central was amazing to work with-- very professional, efficient, responsive and kind. The cars were dropped off without a scratch in the early morning and we were on the road home to Washington before noon. I highly recommend them to anyone needing helicopter services.

Chartered a helicopter for my boyfriends birthday.. what an amazing flight.. he was wowed and humbled by the experience... I was scared of flying but Will made me feel so comfortable and able to enjoy the experience as well.. between Jennifer and Will I made the perfect choice hiring this company. Thank you

We use central helicopters at least 3-6 times a year, and every experience is top notch, from walking into the door, to flying to our destination! Whether its a quick drop off on a mountain top or sling loading equipment,they are up for any task! All pilots are great and safe to fly with any time of year. We fly with Will most often, and he is fantastic! Big thank you!

Had my intro flight on 7/1/16, It was an amazing experience. I was super nervous just entering the helicopter, but after take off and I "took controls" it was a different world, I have so much respect for helicopter pilots.. I kept going to the left, but every time I took controls I had learned something new. Aaron was very encouraging, looking forward to future classes here
