The Central Helicopter Servies AG (Centralheli or CHS) was founded in 1997.
In the first years, the services included pilot training with Enstrom 280 as well as sightseeing and taxi flights with the legendary Bell 206BIII Jet Ranger, which is still part of the fleet.
In 2005 CentralHeli purchased the Bell 407. Thanks to the fleet expansion Centralheli could also offer sling-load missions, primarily in the densely populated central Switzerland and cities. At that time the staff was also increased.
