FIG Air Inc. was launched in 2015 to meet the needs of a corporate owner to have his Augusta 109 helicopter managed safely and cost-effectively. In the fall of 2016, FIG Air Inc. purchased a Sikorsky 76D helicopter, and in 2017 acquired Central Helicopters, a commercial helicopter operator and maintenance organization located in Parry Sound. This expansion allowed the company to expand into the utility market and provide maintenance for its growing fleet of aircraft. FIG Air also brought a managed Sikorsky 76C++ helicopter into the fleet in 2017 and a Falcon 900 EX jet managed by SkyService. Based in Ontario, Canada, FIG Air continues to be successful at providing Luxury Aircraft Charters, Aircraft Management & Maintenance Services, and Aircraft Leasing.
