Couldn’t recommend Fletcher Mountain Aviation enough whether it’s for a sightseeing or charter. Owner/Operator/Pilot Pete Thompson is great, being extremely informative about the region and flying and a skilled aviator as well as friendly, personable, and hilarious to talk to. Aircraft is a beautifully maintained Cessna 182P on Aerocet 3500Ls w P.Ponk Engine (great sound) which makes for a smooth ride. I’d recommend the Katadhin flight, you get excellent views from both sides and see much of north central Maine and the 100 mile wilderness on the way up and back.

Beautiful scenic trip in the Beech Hill Pond area. Weather was perfect; Guide/Pilot (Pete) knew everything about the area and provided such an enjoyable afternoon aloft! Cannot recommend more highly.

Jumped aboard with another passenger looking to split the cost...first ever Sea Plane ride from Moosehead to Bourassa Pond and back...great experience and smooth flying!!!
