I honestly can’t say enough good things about my experience with Flight Gest Academy. My schedule is pretty demanding, so my biggest worry was finding a school that could actually work around my availability without dragging the process out forever. Flight Gest was amazing with that. They let me train completely on my own schedule, kept me on track, and helped me hit my goal exactly on the timeline I had set for myself. I really owe a massive thank you to my CFI, Elijah. He’s a top-tier instructor who knows exactly how to balance professionalism with a reassuring, calm presence in the cockpit. Elijah didn't just teach me how to pass the checkride; he taught me how to be a safe, confident, and competent pilot. His mentorship made all the difference in helping me reach this milestone. If you’re looking for a flight school that actually adapts to your life and helps you get it done, I can't recommend Flight Gest enough. Massive thanks to Elijah and the whole team!

If you're thinking about learning to fly, don't hesitate—choose FGA! I did my discovery flight here and have been training with them ever since. It’s hands down the best experience you can have in Raleigh. In fact, I've brought my wife and family along for discovery flights multiple times. The office and testing center are always clean and well-organized. Every time I visit, the office staff is incredibly friendly and goes above and beyond. The instructors are also wonderful; they are so welcoming and genuinely passionate about teaching people how to fly. On top of that, their aircraft are always meticulously maintained, and the maintenance team is fast, friendly, precise, and safety-oriented. I will definitely keep coming back and highly recommend FGA to anyone who wants to learn how to fly!

I have been training with FlightGest Academy for two years now and have had a wonderful experience. They have a large fleet of aircraft with the latest technology which makes a huge difference - especially the air conditioning! The staff has been very attentive in supporting me in each step along the way. I also love that they allow students to rent the planes on their own to fly to fun destinations. It’s been a blast taking their archers up and down the East coast!

I had the pleasure of taking my first discovery flight at FlightGest, and it was an incredible experience! Richard was my instructor and he was absolutely awesome. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made me feel completely comfortable throughout the entire flight. He explained everything clearly and made the experience both fun and educational. I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to flying. Highly recommend FlightGest and Richard to anyone curious about getting into aviation!
