Absolutely amazing experience! James was a brilliant pilot, very knowledgeable and informative and we loved every second appreciating the beauty of NZ and this amazing mountain range. Would highly recommend this company and this experience!

We had a wonderful trip with Aspiring Helicopters. The weather caused a bit of a modification to the planned tour, however they adjusted accordingly and we had a wonderful experience. The communication was excellent as they worked with us about our tour.

The helicopter ride was definitely one of the highlights of our NZ trip! Our original flight time was still too foggy, but Michelle kindly rescheduled us for later that same day — and we’re so glad she did. Phil was an excellent pilot and made us feel completely safe the entire time. The views were absolutely breathtaking and unlike anything we’ve ever seen. Truly worth the drive to Wānaka!

Easily the best part of our trip. From the moment we lifted off from the hangar, the views of the Southern Alps were breathtaking. Our pilot was fantastic, extremely professional, knowledgeable about the local geography, and made us feel completely safe while navigating the rugged peaks. Landing on the snow was a surreal experience; the silence and the scale of the mountains are something you just can't capture in photos (though we certainly tried!). The turquoise glacial lakes and the sheer ice falls we saw from the cockpit were mind-blowing. If you’re in the Wanaka area, do not hesitate to book this. It’s a world-class experience.

Don’t even think about taking a helicopter tour to Milford Sound from Queenstown if you have a chance to fly with Aspiring Helicopters from Wanāka. The route is way nicer, leading over the Southern Alps including Mt. Aspiring, plus the team around Michelle is absolutely fabulous. We’ve had such a good time and would do this again in a heartbeat. The stopover on a snowy mountain top was the icing on the cake.
