Helicentre Aviation was founded in 2001 by Chris and Katie Line, originally based at Coventry Airport in the West Midlands and later moving its headquarters to Leicester Airport.
The operation went from strength to strength and the directors expectations of creating a one-stop training academy and commercial air operation were far exceeded, having trained hundreds of professional pilots and creating a significant number of jobs for pilots and operations staff.
Today Helicentre owns and operates a large fleet of modern Cabri G2 and Robinson R44 helicopters, has opened up an EASA and FAA approved base in Florida in the US, and operates the largest onshore gas pipeline contract in the UK.

What a fantastic experience at Helicentre ! From the moment we arrived, Josh gave us a warm welcome and was extremely professional throughout. He also looked after the social media content and helped capture some great memories of our flight.
Steve , our pilot, was excellent—friendly, informative, and highly professional. He made us feel completely relaxed and ensured we had an amazing pleasure flight.

Wonderful experience fitting a helicopter as part of a trial lesson with half hour flight time. The instructor is professional, very polite and competent. He showed me many manoeuvres and allowed me to practice under his guidance.
Hovering, turning and using the pedals cyclic and the collective each by itself and then in combination to achieve certain outcomes prior demonstrated. Recommended for aviation enthusiasts and flight simmers!

I attended a pilot selection day here today and was very impressed. My instructor Alex was superb and Logan in the office was super helpful and friendly. Everything was very professional and well organised. I can’t wait to start my training!
