We had an amazing experience with them. Booking our flight a day before, and then being whisked away to epic views of the Okavango Delta, and a very fulfilling visit to Elephant Havens sanctuary. Ben was our pilot - it was like flying with your friend, but that serious friend who does not mess around and only wants the best for you. I don't think he had any idea how scared I was being my first time in a helicopter, after previously telling myself I'd never go up in one. Truly a yolo experience. Do this if you have the chance!

This review is long overdue, but our flight with Zakai and Helicopter Horizons was one of the highlights of our trip to the Okavango Delta. We flew in early May from Little Vumbura, when the Delta was flooded, which created absolutely stunning landscapes. Seeing it all from above offered a beautiful contrast to exploring by safari vehicle, and Zakai was able to spot every animals we wanted to see. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone visiting Botswana on safari!

We had an absolutely incredible experience with Helicopter Horizons Maun on our 45-minute helicopter flight over the Okavango Delta, including a champagne stop in the middle of this breathtaking landscape. The views were simply spectacular and unlike anything we’ve ever seen. From the air we were able to spot a wide variety of wildlife, making the experience even more memorable. Seeing the Okavango Delta from above truly gives you a unique appreciation of its beauty and scale. What made the experience exceptional, however, were our pilots, Zakai and Reece. They were outstanding throughout the entire flight—extremely professional, knowledgeable, and safety-conscious while also being warm, friendly, and engaging. Their confidence and expertise put us completely at ease, allowing us to fully enjoy every moment of the journey. It was clear that they take great pride in what they do, and their professionalism was evident from start to finish. This was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that exceeded all expectations, and it’s something we would do again without hesitation. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Maun and the Okavango Delta!

A once in a lifetime experience! The views of wildlife and the landscape were beautiful. Our pilot, Harris was friendly, knowledgable and endeavoured to provide us with the best possible experience and views. He and his team made this an unforgettable experience. I couldn’t recommend this enough!
