Hutt Aviation was a great way to come into Lake Tahoe. We were recently landed for a family vacation and we loved the pretty short drive leading up to Lake Tahoe. They have friendly and accommodating attendants, I believe it was Chris that helped us that day.

last week I was at the airport trying to get on the waiting list for a hangar. I parked at Hutt Aviation (FBO). as I exited the car a bald man, maybe in his thirties, yelled to me through the gate. "Can I help you?" I told him I wanted to inquire about hangar space and asked if I could use the restroom. He simple said, "No, they have a public restroom at the cafe. I tried to tell him I was a customer of theirs in the past but he simply walked away. This person needs to find a new job. he is ruining the businesses reputation .

I don't normally post on google, but I found this so egregious that I find it necessary. I had parked my car in the Hutt parking lot and walked through the office without any notice. I took care of my business and had an acquaitance drive me back to where my car was. We drove up to the office and were immediately challenged for driving on "their property". I was told I couldn't exit the area through their doorway unless I had a gate badge ( I have one, but I left it home). I have used their services in the past but I can assure you I will not in the future. If you need fuel, drive over to the fuel island and get it cheaper (they probably have that concession as well). And BTW, Richard Strand is a great A&P regardless of his affiliation with Hutt.

Hutt Aviation took great care of my family and me. They brought my Hertz rental car right up to the plane. They towed my plane and tied it down so I could get on the road with my kids. Thank you so much Hutt!

Everything about this FBO is GREAT!!! We planned an after-hours arrival, needing rental cars & overnite hanger space. Owner Al, office rep Amanda, and the entire line-service team were proactive in their service to us! Outstanding. I stopped by the next day just for grins & despite busy, owner Al Gangwish gave a chunk of his time (and extensive A&P experience) to assist an issue with our aircraft. SO impressed with this family business.... GOOD hard-working people 👍🏼 Thank you.
