We booked through JetService NL earlier in 2026 for an August 2026 intraEuropean flight. TL;DR: With the benefit of hindsight, I would have chosen another company. First, they were WILDLY uncommunicative (I had to chase them around to give them our passport info, etc.). For example, our contract specified in writing that we would have crew info, etc. "well in advance" (direct quote from booking contract) of our flight but we were chasing them around via email and WhatsApp the whole week before the flight. Keep in mind they had given me no WhatsApp or other similar contact info--I basically had to research the entire company to find the owner/CEO's name (Gijs Nyst)--and then I began to call and text him via WhatsApp directly, given the lack of email response from him/his staff. Less than 24 hours before our flight, Gijs Nyst told us our original plane had a 'technical issue' and we would have to leave 4 hours earlier, on a 'better' plane. The plane may have been better--unsure--but either way: this wasn't what we'd booked, and made us miss the last morning of our kid's summer camp. Plus, as anyone can guess, an 8:30am flight time - even a private flight, where you don't have to arrive super early - involves way less sleep than a 12:00pm flight, especially packing up with kids! Also meant we had to kill time in the next city, as we arrived too early for check-in. We'd booked 12:00pm for a reason, and the rebooking to 8:20am threw off the entire day. Gijs also told us via email, "Regarding catering; on these type of flights, usually standard cold catering is included, like selection of sandwiches/canapees, freshly sliced fruit and petit fours. If you have any preferences in toppings, or for example salads or sandwiches, please do not hesitate to let us know." I'd told him that cold catering he described sounded fine! On the actual flight, though....no catering, other than soft drinks and mini Moets (we had one of those), along with processed/bagged snacks like Pringles and nuts (no sandwiches, fruit, etc.). In fairness to JetService NL/Gijs, he paid for our transport to/from the airport on both ends of the flight in a sort of recompense, I suppose--and we did take a plane ride between the two cities (we were genuinely worried we were being scammed, given our lack of experience with them and the failure to reply to us in the months after we paid)--which was a great relief, given the feeling we were being scammed. But we received no further explanation for all of the failures described above. And when you pay for a private flight, IMO, you don't want to be wondering 24 hours in advance for things like how you are getting to the airport (our hotel offered to arrange transport a week before, but we were awaiting pricing from JetService for DAYS for transport, never got it!) or who your flight crew is, among other things (we met them at the airport 10 minutes before departure!). You also don't want to be told the NIGHT BEFORE that your flight departure has changed and is way earlier. You also want the food you were promised....look, I could go on, but you get it. I would NOT RECOMMEND JetService NL.
