I worked with Deuce on a prebuy inspection on an RV-9, and I was very impressed by both his knowledge and ability to articulate his findings and implications of them to someone (me) without a mechanical background. He also was willing to squeeze me in on 3 days notice, while the other RV experienced shop near Dallas area was a few months out. Highly recommend!!

On January 26, 2026, I hired them to replace the pilot and copilot windows on my 1976 Cessna 172M with ones I had ordered. On Thursday, Feb 26, 2026, I took the plane to them on Eagle Lane at Aero Country Airport, T31, perhaps their main facility, for an annual, signed off the following Friday. Thare are a lot of positives here: 1) availability - they were not booked two-months-out like some shops; 2) a reasonable hourly rate; 3) Deuce looked at things others may not have, such as: a) wheel bearings - two of mine were not approved for planes; b) brake pedal bearings - he replaced these to get rid of play - he said he puts a priority on flight controls; c) the carb air, cabin heat, vaccum, and crankcase breather hoses were worn or collapsing and he replaced them; d) he added flap buttons that had fallen out, added a missing fuel placard on the wing, and replaced a rivet on the door hinge. 4) He did other things I added such as a) fixed my cigarette lighter socket wiring so I could use it to charge my phone; b) cut a hole in my instrument shock panel plastic that I needed; c) removed metal bends at the top of my baggage door that let water in; and d) velcroed the vertical panel at the back of the hat shelf that had fallen down. 5) He responded right away and in detail to my emails requesting clarifications. He first sends out an approve/decline online form, with lots of good photos prior to service. The quoted price of the annual does not include 1 hour of labor for changing the oil, but with this added in his total base cost was inline with others who include such labor in their quotes, so that was ok. He seems to have excellent workers. I'd take my plane there again.

Preston and the team are incredibly responsive, willing to take the time out of their day for their customers and even strangers, couldn’t say enough about their attitudes and commitment to their craft. If you go anywhere else, you’d be doing yourself and your aircraft a disservice.

Very impressed with these folks. Called for a quick repair to one of my Aircraft struts in order to avoid canceling a trip. They were there within 10 minutes and fixed me up for a very reasonable fee. Thanks for the help!
