We were recently at Müller's, where we're active members of the German Red Cross (DRK) and agreed to become supporting members. During the discussion, we were talking about €5 per month. Now it's suddenly €60. As a trainee hairdresser, I can't afford that, and that wasn't the agreement. They wouldn't take no for an answer at the stand... And I even said €5 was okay, but definitely not €60 all at once. I'm in the process of canceling. I sent a letter a week ago, haven't received a reply, and have already sent three emails, including through the website, but nothing has happened so far. It's simply unbelievable.

Despite my father-in-law being on the Robinson List and having written to the data protection officer, they continue to send him unsolicited advertising letters for dubious fundraising projects. Unprofessional².

I can only agree... I immediately googled what other people's experiences with this "Wishmobile" are like. They were just at my door (7:30 pm) and one of them (around 20 years old) tried to talk me into giving him my data and selling me a subscription. When I refused, he got snappy. A truly reputable sales gang 🫥 unbelievable.

I personally find it very problematic that the Order of Malta in Germany publicly opposes the right to abortion (see, among others, the Brosius-Gersdorf case and the Order of Malta's position on it). This calls into question the "my body, my choice" paradigm for women and denies them the right to self-determination over their own bodies. An organization that is simultaneously active in the social sector should support people, not patronize women and try to restrict their freedom of choice. This backward-looking view of women, in my opinion, has no place in a modern, democratic society.

They talked my 94-year-old grandfather into a supporting membership, even though he can barely afford the care. What a cheek! I'm so angry at this pseudo-"charity" organization that rips off poor people. When I pointed this out on the phone, the employee simply hung up on me. Such undignified and antisocial behavior! Disgusting! Shame on you!
