Highly recommend taking a ride here. Whether you choose a short trip or a longer tour, it's well worth the experience. I took a night ride over Las Vegas, and it was truly memorable. The views were stunning, and both the crew and pilot were friendly, professional, and made the journey enjoyable.

We had a blast! It was an AMAZING experience and was definitely a highlight of our trip to Vegas. Our pilot, Taylor, was skilled and informative. HOWEVER, what was outstandingly missing was a sense of hospitality from Maverick. We paid $600 a person for our trip and we don't even get bottles of water? Surely the cost of such minor items won't put you out of business. For the sake of future passengers, PLEASE consider making this standard operating procedure.

Maverick was highly recommended to us as the best helicopter tour company in town, and after our experience, we can confidently say the recommendations were absolutely deserved. We were a family of four with two boys, ages 10 and 7, and felt safe and well taken care of throughout the entire adventure. Our pilot, Dan, was fantastic — friendly, professional, informative, and calm from start to finish. He immediately put everyone at ease, which is especially appreciated when you’re voluntarily climbing into a helicopter over a giant canyon! The helicopter also included another family of three, and everyone had the opportunity to sit in the front for part of the ride, which made the experience even more memorable. The views were simply breathtaking. I’ve visited the Grand Canyon twice before, but seeing it from above offers a completely different perspective that photos simply cannot capture. It was thrilling, unforgettable, and absolutely worth every penny. Even our kids stopped arguing for a few minutes, which may have been the most miraculous part of the tour.

Our Amazing Grand Canyon Wind Dancer Tour My sister and I began a “grand circle” trip around the Grand Canyon and other sites around in Colorado and Utah with a tour with Maverick Helicopters. We did the “Grand Canyon Wind Dancer Tour” which takes you over many sites on the way to the west rim of the Canyon and back. Once we got to the Grand Canyon, we stopped at a private site they have above the Colorado River to enjoy champagne and snacks. Needless to say, the views throughout the trip were beautiful and amazing but what made this such a wonderful trip was our pilot, Christian. From the very well-done safety briefing before we took off through the narrative he provided throughout the voyage, and answering all of the questions we and the other passengers had, he was just terrific. He was fun and so informative about what we were seeing and what it was like piloting a helicopter in this area. One other fun thing he did was to create a playlist of songs that we heard over our microphones when no one was talking, and he had great taste in songs – and all generations in the group loved them 😉! Christian also made sure each of the 5 of us who were on the tour got a seat up front for part of the time. We made two stops – one for the Canyon break and one to refill the copter at a site midway between the Canyon and Las Vegas. It turns out that Maverick has established their own refueling site which is a much cheaper approach for sure. We’d never done something like this, so it was a new experience, but the helicopter they use is a good one, with no bad viewing seats. We would definitely recommend Maverick Helicopters for this type of experience. Their process for booking, handling changes and contacting us before the tour and how it works once you get to their departure site is great. Re: parking, one thing I noticed is that at the Las Vegas site there didn’t appear to be too much parking available, so keep that in mind.

My family was looking for some excitement on our trip to Las Vegas and Maverick Helicopters was recommended. We were so happy that we made the decision to take the helicopter trip. We did the trip to the Grand Canyon with a landing in the canyon. It was expensive but it was so worth it. My kids are 9 and 6 and they loved every minute. The youngest doesn't like roller coasters or drops but she wasn't scare by anything. You land twice so we all got a chance to ride in the front and the back. Our pilot did a great job with everything. He was very informative if you had questions but also let you enjoy the flight. The views are stunning and it was cool to get a chance to spend a little time in the Grand Canyon. We will have to go back to the canyon because my kids loved exploring. It was cool to see the Hoover Dam and Lake Powell.
