TOP!! I had an accident in Brazil in November 2025! I needed surgery! Medicall set up a WhatsApp chat for me! Throughout the entire process, from the accident and surgery to organizing my return flight and taxi at Zurich Airport, they were always there for me! If I needed anything, I could message them day and night! They also frequently checked in to see if I needed anything or if there was anything else they could do for me! A huge compliment! Super competent and friendly staff! Thank you! 👍🏽🥂

Personal Review of My Repatriation Procedure I would like to share my experience regarding the handling of my accident abroad by my repatriation insurance (Axa), my repatriation reinsurance (Visana), and their weekend service provider, Medicall. I was injured on a Friday morning abroad, and despite my specific repatriation insurance, my return could only be arranged on Monday morning. In the meantime, we had to make approximately 65 calls to try to get things moving. Throughout the weekend, Medicall's handling was extremely disappointing. We felt like we were being passed from one person to another, without any real action or follow-up. On Saturday in particular, no concrete steps were taken: we were essentially kept waiting, as if the goal was to wait for the insurance company to reopen on Monday so that things could finally move forward. This lack of responsiveness and coordination, in an already stressful situation, was extremely distressing. I was injured, far from home, and I didn't feel supported or accompanied. It's regrettable, especially for a service supposedly designed to intervene precisely in this type of situation. On the other hand, once the insurance claim was reopened, things finally started moving forward—but three days lost in pain and uncertainty is far too long.

Top handling of my accident in India this month. Medicall organized flight, medical taxi and wheelchair at all airports in transit. I could not have travelled back to Switzerland without their great support. Thanks so much.

Last night I had a breakdown and the lady on the phone was so incredibly supportive; I only realized later that she was an acquaintance. After my car was towed, she picked me up and drove me home – wow, what amazing service! Thank you, Mirjam!
