So far it's been all good experiences. I have never had a missed luggage. I look forward to direct flights coming back to Fort Smith!

I am appalled by the manner in which NWAL is dealing with our situation of our bags. We paid full fare to fly from Edmonton to Fort Smith on Monday Aug 9. They could not load our bags because of the overall weight issue of the plane. So first, poor planning by NWT for accepting reservations that they could not fulfill. Secondly, they said bags would arrive next day Tuesday Aug 10. I called NWAL before going to the airport and they said bags would arrive. Happily, I go to the airport to pickup the bags and none arrived. There was no apology given and attitude was uncaring. I suppose one can do that if one has the monopoly. I try calling to find out and no answer. Of course, it was past 5 pm. I have been calling and left messages, but no answer and nobody called until I sent an email. The lady on the call was very apologetic and pleasant. She explained that the bags should arrive today Wednesday. We are visitors in Fort Smith and not having essentials for 2 days has been very upsetting and frustrating. It is not like we have extra clothes hanging around. I hope bags do arrive today.

Mike and Jacob were the pilots who flew me from Edmonton to Fort Smith direct on the Jetstream aircraft. There's no autopilot on the airplane, so I commend the pilots for flying skillfully. It was a comfortable flight with my earplugs in.

This air lease is very accommodating, and the Cessna plane they fly (from 1972, I think the owner was telling me) is very cool. The experience the pilots have, combined with their service is unparalleled in the North.
