Flying with Nick is much, much better (and less expensive per minute/hour flight) than any of the heli flight offers popping up when you search for flights over the tulip fields (which we did extensively before booking). We took the 2 passenger heli (other option is up to 4) providing 180 degree views for both, and had almost 2 hours in the air. Nick took well care of us even before the flight by calling and suggesting to move the pre-booked flight, because the tulips were scarcely blossoming. He flew us over and around Keukenhof, lot’s of tulip fields, the European Space Agency, Den Hague seaside, Gouda and Rotterdam city plus many more including the kick-off for the Dutch soccer cup final at Feyenoord stadium 😊 He completed the incredible experience with lot’s of insights about the country and certain locations plus an extra session on how to fly a helicopter. We’ll be back for the northern part of the Netherlands!

Last Sunday, I took my first helicopter tour (a birthday present). Due to a mix-up, we were supposed to be in Lelystad, but it turned out we were supposed to be in Emmen. Luckily, they resolved the issue and allowed us to fly to Hilversum anyway, which was fantastic! We received a very friendly welcome, had to wait a bit, and then... ...boarded! The pilot pointed out interesting spots and answered all our questions. Unfortunately, the flight ended (too) quickly! Many happy and safe flights, Ryfas Helicopters!
