Shearwater Air is a jet charter and aircraft management company based in scenic Monterey, California. We currently manage a Gulfstream G550 in the Pacific Northwest. Shearwater Air’s roots can be traced to an initial 1996 purchase of a Lear 60, when Shearwater’s founders realized there was great value in the time savings and productivity of private aircraft usage. We later operated a Bombardier Challenger 300 for several years before acquiring the G550 in 2013. Shearwater began its jet charter service when it achieved its Federal Aviation Administration Part 135 certification in 2010. Shearwater Air facilitates business and pleasure travel. Our jets have traveled extensively throughout the United States and to Europe, Asia, Tahiti, Chile, Brazil and Hawaii, and even circumnavigating the globe.
