I wasn’t impressed but it was the flight I wanted and the price was ok. The first short flight was on an old plane that was worn and with a so-so snack. The second longer flight it was a little better but the food and choices were not so good. Even the drinks were of lower quality. Also limited entertainment but there were usb-a ports.

Amazing flight experience on Sichuan airlines for my trip to Harbin with transit at Chengdu and Chongqing. Very friendly check in and inflight services- inflight meals are very good too, and very regular serving of beverages to keep one hydrated. The stewardess even asked us to follow her in stretching exercises before we land 😂👍!

Worst company you can travel with as a non-Chinese national. They have no idea of travel requirements, speak nothing but Chinese(but they operate is several countries and carry every national passenger…!!) and they will ghost you when there is any issue. To the point of denying embassy call when things got bad!

My luggage was damaged on a Sichuan Airlines flight from Chongqing to Bangkok on 27 Dec 2025, and the airline’s response was disgraceful. The airline staff did not bother to inspect the damaged bag at all. Instead, they dismissively declared a compensation of THB 500 (approximately USD 16) on the spot, without explanation or assessment. When questioned, the staff behaved arrogantly and refused to properly engage. The airport staff later confirmed that the Sichuan Airlines personnel refused to identify themselves and declined all responsibility, leaving the airport staff powerless to assist further. This is a shocking display of unprofessionalism, lack of accountability, and total disregard for passengers. I refused the insulting token compensation, as it neither reflects the damage caused nor excuses the airline’s failure to follow basic baggage handling and complaint procedures. This experience reflects extremely poorly on Sichuan Airlines and raises serious concerns about its customer service standards and responsibility toward passengers.

Pathetic Airline! Cancels about 80 percent of their own scheduled flights all the time! Mostly right a day after booking! Avoid that unprofessionell airline at all costs!
