Bill and Bonnie Mavencamp started Wright Aero in January 1982. Since then, Wright Aero has established a reputation for excellence in flight training and on-demand charter. Bill started his aviation career in the US Army in 1966 as an aircraft mechanic. Following his discharge in 1969, he began a flight instruction career that would eventually lead to the creation of Wright Aero. He holds an Airline Transport Pilot license with type ratings in Citation 500 and 525 along with the Learjet series aircraft.
Greg Mavencamp joined Wright Aero on a full-time basis after completing A&P training at Northland College and receiving a BS degree at St. Cloud State University in Aviation Management. Greg also holds an Airline Transport Pilot license and is typed in Citation 525 series aircraft.
