Safety ratings, decoded.
Reviews tell you how an operator treats its clients. ARGUS and WYVERN audits tell you how it runs its flight department. Bravo shows both, side by side, for every operator in the register.

ARGUS
A tiered audit of the flight department, safety analysis, background checks, and, at the top, an on-site functional audit of the operator's safety systems.

Platinum Elite
HighestARGUS's highest rating. On top of every Platinum requirement, auditors run an on-site functional audit, they watch the operator's Safety Management System and Emergency Response Plan actually working in day-to-day flight operations, not just confirm the manuals exist. It is awarded only to operators that have sustained that standard continuously over years of operating history, so the badge reflects a proven safety culture rather than a single passing inspection.
Platinum
An on-site audit in which ARGUS personnel physically visit the operator to examine its flight operations, maintenance program, and safety management systems firsthand. It builds on every Gold requirement, verifying that the record behind a Gold rating is matched by the facilities, procedures, and controls found on the ground.
Gold Plus
Everything in a Gold rating, plus an ARGUS-conducted historical safety analysis over a longer operating window. The extended lookback surfaces trends a shorter sample can miss, incident and accident history, ownership and fleet changes, and pilot turnover, for a more durable read on the operator's track record.
Gold
A desktop audit of the operator's history: a historical safety analysis, pilot background and experience verification, and validation that the operator holds genuine operational control of its aircraft. Completed from ARGUS records without an on-site visit, it establishes the baseline every higher tier is built upon.

WYVERN
An operator either publishes verifiable safety data through PASS or clears WYVERN's on-site Wingman audit, the higher of the two standards.

Wingman
HighestWYVERN's highest standard: an on-site audit against the Wingman Standard, covering safety management, pilot experience and training, maintenance, and insurance. Auditors visit the operator to verify the program in person, and the certification must be renewed on a recurring cycle, so a current Wingman badge signals an operator that keeps clearing the bar, not one that cleared it once.
Registered
The operator reports its safety data to WYVERN and publishes a PASS (Pilot & Aircraft Safety Survey) report. Before a trip, a broker or flier can pull that report to check the specific crew's experience and currency, the aircraft's maintenance and registration details, and the operator's insurance, turning trust into something verifiable rather than assumed.
