How a broker works for you

01

Brief the trip

Route, dates, passengers, and preferences — a good broker turns that into a precise aircraft spec.

02

Source the operator

Brokers shop your trip across FAA Part 135 operators, comparing aircraft, positioning, and price.

03

Verify, then fly

The operator on the certificate flies you. Check their safety ratings and reviews here before you sign.

Ask any broker which Part 135 operator will fly your trip — then look them up on the operator register.

In my experience, Lane Aviation is a superb FBO. From the moment you walk in, you are welcomed by friendly faces and great attitudes. The folks at Lane truly care about their customers, and they go above and beyond to prove it. You can tell they’ve been at it for 90 years! I’ve been a customer at Lane for just a few months, and I feel completely welcome and part of the family. The facilities are squeaky clean and well organized, and you can’t forget about the complementary fresh-baked cookies! Aircraft of all sizes are handled with the utmost respect and care by the team. You will find no better FBO in the Columbus metro.

I visited Lane for the first time the other day to switch things up as I would usually use the other FBO on the field. After I returned from dinner it was noted my plane had some mechanical issues and would not be able to checked until the next day. The team with lane was more than happy to assist by giving me a place to stay the and gave my student a ride to the rental car station. I would like to give a big shout out to David for taking charge and for his willingness to assist. I will be sure to return and only use Lane from now on. Thank you to all the staff at Lane for all you did for me.

Great place, friendly to GA small planes, nice friendly people, 2 crash bed rooms and a shower, and pilot Lounge and rec room to relax. Better facility, with the nicest people I've met yet. Five F/A-18 were there for the Ohio state game, the night I spend there. Staff still took great care of me with a small GA plane, with all the hustle and bustle going on day of the big game.
