How a broker works for you

01

Brief the trip

Route, dates, passengers, and preferences — a good broker turns that into a precise aircraft spec.

02

Source the operator

Brokers shop your trip across FAA Part 135 operators, comparing aircraft, positioning, and price.

03

Verify, then fly

The operator on the certificate flies you. Check their safety ratings and reviews here before you sign.

Ask any broker which Part 135 operator will fly your trip — then look them up on the operator register.

Working with Reata Jet at Austin Executive Airport (EDC) has been genuinely seamless. Our CEO is an instrument-rated pilot with 700+ flight hours, so we’re very familiar with aviation logistics—and we don’t say this lightly: Reata has made the entire process easier than we thought possible. They handle everything—from private charter coordination to broader aircraft logistics—which removes a huge amount of friction on our end. We’ve historically coordinated flights elsewhere, which often led to unnecessary complications. With Reata Jet, that friction disappears. Amber and the entire team are responsive, sharp, and incredibly easy to work with. No call centers, no pitches—just direct communication, clear details, and everything handled exactly as promised. Even last-minute changes have been easy, and everything has run exactly on schedule. It’s rare to find a full-service aviation partner in the Austin area that feels this organized and dependable while also being this easy to work with. Reata Jet is now our go-to—and we recommend them without hesitation to investors and business partners.

Reata did an incredible job coordinating our charter. Communication was outstanding, every detail was handled smoothly, and there were representatives present at each departure and arrival point, which made the entire trip feel exceptionally well supported. The operation was seamless from start to finish. On top of that, they were generous and thoughtful in recognizing the crew, which is always appreciated. I would gladly work with them again and highly recommend them to both clients and crew.

Travis, Jason, Josh, Walter, and Matt are experts. Safety is their top concern. I am also partial to the best trip coordinator in the US, Amber. Ross and Adham are both excellent pilots. Gizmo and Porter are security.

I worked with Clayton Corn to sell my cirrus SR 20 this year. But he was an absolute professional, and did a fantastic job listing and vetting buyers for me. He was able to get top dollar aircraft. I could not be more pleased with the experience I had with him and Apex. I highly recommend them for all your aircraft needs.

We had the pleasure of working with Clayton at APEX Flight Solutions as he walked us through our first aircraft purchase, and he was wonderful to work with! As first-time aircraft owners we had no idea how to go about the process, but Clayton was patient with us along the way and worked hard to help make the purchase as seamless as possible for us. You are definitely in compassionate, knowledgeable hands if you work with Clayton!
