I went to Chennault to get my CFI and I found the best flight instructor I’ve ever used. She held me to high standards, pushed at just the right times, went the extra mile in her attention to detail, and her aeronautical knowledge was high. Thank you Mackenzie! All was good up until the flight test portion when I went with a private student and his instructor to Decatur. Upon returning, the flight school billed me for half of the flight instructor’s costs. Even after explaining he was not my instructor, I did not need the instructor, I did not ask for the instructor, I was not informed they’d bill me for the instructor, and I did not receive his services. It is frustrating to say the least and definitely leaving a bad taste as far as Chennault Aviation Academy goes. I am working on continuing my aviation education, but not at Chennault.

Starting my aviation journey here, and so far the environment is welcoming, and calm. Safety is prioritized! The training process is at your own pace, and understanding with what you need work on. Would recommend starting your aviation career at CAA.

I've really enjoyed my training at Chennault. They told me that they could get me through as fast as I was willing to work and they absolutely did. The mx team is great and I've always felt safe in their planes. The instructors I've had genuinely care about their students. You put in the work on your end, they will too. Having a career track financing option is an absolute game changer as well. Highly recommend.

I had a wonderful experience here. I’ve always wanted to fly and I got to do it as a birthday gift. Wonderful people. Skye and Justin made it a breeze. I highly highly recommend. I just might change my career to aviation after this😄.
