Our history in aviation began with Lyddon Flying Service, originally founded in La Junta, Colorado, by Bill Lyddon, Sr. in 1965. Flight training was the only service provided at the time, but an air charter business soon developed.
In 1975, Bill Lyddon, Sr., along with his sons Steve Lyddon and Bill Lyddon, Jr., purchased the FBO in Lamar, Colorado, whose emphasis was changed to primarily charter, and the business began to grow.
In October of 1990, Steve Lyddon and Bill Lyddon, Jr. purchased the FBO in Liberal, Kansas.

Bill at Lyddon Aero Center is an absolute lifesaver. I had an issue with my plane, he not only gave us a ride and got us a courtesy car. He helped get the plane in a safe location . World-class company and an outstanding individual. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

A lovely and well-maintained facility keeping the spirit of family flight and private pilot travel alive! My husband and our daughters stopped in for gas and a day trip to see the Mid-America Aviation Museum conveniently located next to the airport. We were immediately welcomed by friendly staff who fulfilled our needs for the day graciously. Thank you!!
