Upon landing I was offered a bottle of water (a noted luxury and a necessity in the Texas heat), and a complimentary debriefing where we discussed my personal flight training goals.

Have been trying to get my pilots license for 2 years now. Their fleet is embarrassingly small. Only one Cirrus which had had constant maintenance issues. Do not recommend.

After Monarch Air's relocation to Perrin Field in Sherman, I was in the hunt for a new Flight School to attend based out of Addison, close to my home in Frisco and workplace in Carrollton. I stumbled upon PlaneSmart! Aviation on a google search. From the moment I walked into the door it was easy to note that PlaneSmart's facilities are top of the line, and it's fleet of Cirrus SR-20/22s, and 1x C172SP were of the highest quality. Mr. Llewyn Jobe was nothing short of exceptional in helping me schedule an introductory flight with one of the CFIs who showed me around the facility. Today I arrived at 9AM for my Intro Flight and within fifteen minutes, we were airborne in one of the nicest planes I've had the pleasure of flying in my Aviation Career. My Instructor (Ben) was knowledgeable, polite, and complimentary. While this was my first flight in an aircraft other than 172S or a PA-28, I found the SR-20 (N524PG) a pleasure to fly, and Ben's instruction style to be among the best I've had the pleasure of experiencing. I remarked to a friend who asked me about the flight that flying with Ben felt like we had been flying together for the entirity of my training rather than the 45 minutes alloted in my time block. Upon landing I was offered a bottle of water (a noted luxury and a necessity in the Texas heat), and a complimentary debriefing where we discussed my personal flight training goals. PlaneSmart! books their aircraft in block rates, and I had the fortune of being able to discuss my financial situation (as a full time worker part time Student) with the upper echelon of management and come to an agreement about moving forward with my training. I will be going back to PlaneSmart! I HIGHLY recommend PlaneSmart to anyone in the DFW Metroplex looking for somewhere to continue/begin Flight Training. Pros: - Clean Facilities - Professional Operations Staff, Management, and Pilots - Impressive Simulator/Debriefing Room - Extensive Training Fleet (Multiple SR-22s, 2x SR-20s, and 1x 172SP) - Flexible Scheduling through FlightCircle - Safe Aircraft and Training Attitudes displayed by CFIs Cons: - There simply isn't enough time in the day to spend flying with PlaneSmart!
