Everyone here has been so friendly and helpful as I tried to get a checkout flight setup. I just wanted to stay current as a renter after moving to the area. Some flight schools get annoyed with people who are just renting their aircraft without getting dual instruction. But not here!

Very disappointed, as every single weekend I booked a flight lesson the planes would be down for maintenance so weekend flying was impossible. There was no help in rescheduling the lessons when that happened (even when we were told there would),or even finding an instructor that would be a good fit for me. Not receiving any help at all with finding an instructor or even getting a syllabus to work with adds a lot of discomfort, especially for new student pilots. There was a limited amount of instructors who were almost all fully booked throughout the day, and the club membership was a complete waste since we were never able to fly.

My grandson has been inquiring about airplanes for quite some time, and after his swim lessons, I made a stop at the local airport where individuals learn to fly. The gentleman was kind enough to take him to sit in one of the smaller planes, and he was ecstatic, stating that it was a little plane, indicating his readiness to sit on a bigger airplane. I will leave that decision up to his parents. But I just want to thank the gentleman who took the time to allow my grandson this experience. Thank you once again.

It was awesome!!! A great intro to flying for only $99. The time even counts towards instruction hours required to get your license. The instructor was great. She explained everything. The ride itself was worth it (plus I learned about flying as well). Try it. You will not be disappointed. Also there is free popcorn in their lobby. I love free popcorn.

I visited Tom Wood Aviation to complete a test. Staff was extremely helpful with the process. After the exam she explained further instructions to me. Overall I was very pleased with my visit.
